Face Masks Guide
Why Use a Face Mask?
A face mask delivers a concentrated dose of actives that stays on the skin longer than a regular cream or serum, making it useful for a deeper weekly treatment rather than a daily step. Different mask types work in different ways:
- Rubber/moulding masks — set into a peel-off rubber layer that seals in active ingredients for deeper absorption, popular in Korean skincare
- Cream and gel masks — leave-on or rinse-off formats that hydrate or brighten
- Clay-based masks — help draw out impurities and refine texture
How Often to Use a Face Mask
Most masks are designed for 1-2 uses per week, applied to clean skin and left on for the time specified on the packaging — usually 15-20 minutes.
